Such a beautiful poem and reflection, Kate. I've missed you're writing. I love the word beloved. I absolutely agree, it is life distilled. A state of being in this life, not always easy to embrace or claim. We can learn this from nature, our beloved guide. 🌿💚🌿
We are all beloved, but many of us don’t believe it and our 24/7 world too often prevents us from knowing that truth. Nature really is our beloved guide. And thank you, I am so looking forward to reading - and hearing- your words again. ❤️❤️
So true. i think its the source of much discontent. Thank you for being you and bringing so much of yourself here for us to share and learn and find comfort. 🩷🩷
This reminds me of the beginning of Ephesians, 1 v 4 'Even as He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless in His sight, even above approach, before Him in love'.
Thanks so much Suzanne, I also had ‘you are my beloved’ echoing through my mind, from Christ’s baptism, words that we all need to hear, but I do love those words of Ephesians too. 💙🙏
‘knowing there is nothing to fear, and everything to gain.’ - mesmerized by these words. After a particularly hard day - you are beloved is all I needed to hear. I’m glad to read the place did you so well 🫶🏻
The whole piece feels like standing at the edge of dissolution without fear, as if the sea were slowly returning someone to a more original way of being.

Unfinished and beckoning is a very poem-shaped state.
So it is and I’d not thought of it like that😊, thank you for reading.
Beautiful as always. Your words echo the beauty from your kind, selfless spiritual soul 🌹

“the face you had before you were born”
That line opened something very quiet in me.
The whole piece feels like standing at the edge of dissolution without fear, as if the sea were slowly returning someone to a more original way of being.
Thanks so much Antonio, it certainly feels that way. I hope to remain in that more original way as much as I can. 🙏
